Despite the migraine that forced me to cancel an appointment today, and which has had me hiding under a pillow most of the day, life is shiny. I have my partner, the incomparable Metal Dog, and I have my new Hello Kitty Doc Martens. Tell me these are not exquisitely badass. (The pink is true hot pink; it looks much more purple in that photo.)
